International Project : WHAT MAKES US MOVE
Cirkus in Beweging neemt deel aan een twee jaar durend internationaal project, ondersteund door de Europese Commissie.
International exchange program : education and training of circus-amateurs, young artists, professional artists, educators, teachers, managers and : INTERNATIONAL CIRCUS THEATER Festival !
7 partners from 6 European countries (EU program countries) will initiate and carry out a two-year-long training program including institutional and transnational exchange in the field of circus art.
Each partner contributes a unique profile and individual expertise to this project. The exchange and training program will include several stages aimed at complementing each other across all sectors of circus work.
1. 29 Oct-3 Nov 2010 : circus as a tool in children and youth work; workshops for circus teachers; Cirkus in Beweging, Belgium
2. Sept-Dec 2010 and Jan-Juni 2011 : social work; work in educational institutions; job sharing project for teachers; Cirkus Elleboog, the Netherlands
3. 4-9 January 2011 : workshops for 16-22 year old circus students; Circus theatre Albert & Friends, United Kingdom
4. 20-28 July 2011 : exchange meeting for young circus artists; workshops and performances; regional and international networking LKJ ; Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft Circus, Germany
5. 5-13 August 2011 : Circus Festival in Tallinn, Estonia ; international artistic cooperation; festival Tsirkus Folie + SA Tallinn 2011 ; with participation of all 7 partners (also Cirkus in Beweging).
6. 24-28 February 2012 : education and training for young professionals and circus teachers; Salpaus, Finland
